The hallowed No. 7 jersey for LSU football has been worn by Tiger legends and is given to the biggest playmaker on the team.
The awarding of the No. 7 jersey is one of the traditions which sets the LSU program apart, and as of last week, there is a new member to the seven family, wide receiver Ja'marr Chase.
The Biletnikoff Award-winner shattered school and conference records, hauling in 84 receptions for 1,780 yards and 20 touchdowns.
Chase joins greats Patrick Peterson, Tyrann Mathieu, D.J. Chark, Leonard Fournette and Grant Delpit in the fraternity of players to don the number.
