LSU fans storm the field after beating Alabama

The SEC is looking into more serious punishments for universities when fans storm the field following a win.

In the past, universities would be subjected to a six-figure fine for fans storming the field.

Now, the SEC is proposing a new rule where teams would be forced to play three consecutive away games against the team they beat over the next three seasons if they storm the field.

LSU fans stormed the field twice last year, once against Ole Miss and once against Alabama. Each resulted in two $250,000 fines.
