LSU Senior running back Lanard Fournette withdrew from school and left the team Wednesday.
Lanard is younger brother of former LSU star and current Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette.
The Fournette brothers have rushed for more yards than any other brother combination in LSU history. They have accounted for 3,956 yards collectively.
This season, Lanard had 13 carries for 36 yards and one touchdown.
There is no official reasoning for Lanard's departure as of now, but the Tigers still have four scholarship running backs on the roster.
LSU is expected to rely even more on true freshmen John Emery Jr. and Tyrion Davis-Price now, who have had the most carries behind starter Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
