LSU girls volleyball lose their first game in a two match series against the Florida Gators. The Tigers lost 3 sets to 1 against #3 in the SEC Florida bringing their SEC record to 2 wins and 4 losses. This game is the First time LSU and Florida play with the gators having a ranking lower than No. 15 since Nov. 16, 2012. 

The Tigers are coming off a solid performance where they swept Missouri behind an efficient offense that recorded a season-high .419 hitting percentage

Deberg has been one of the most dominant players in the SEC over the past few seasons when she played at Missouri. She has brought her talents to LSU and has impressed so far. She currently sits at No. 3 in the SEC with 4.22 kills per set and 4.76 points per set. Deberg finished the game with 13 kills and scoring 14 points for LSU.

Middle blocker Whitney Foreman was injured in the third set.
