5-star LSU wide receiver Terrace Marshall and new transfers linebacker Jabril Cox and center Liam Shanahan addressed the media Thursday, each discussing their mindsets entering the 2020 season.

At LSU, it's always next man up. Wide receiver Terrace Marshall talked to the media today and says he did not have to shift his mentality after potential top-5 pick Ja'Marr Chase announced he was leaving the team.

“The person in last position is always going to be just as good,” Marshall said. True freshman Kayshon Boutte and sophomore Jaray Jenkins are also looking to step up alongside Marshall for the upcoming 2020 season.

After winning three-straight championships with the North Dakota State Bison, transfer Jabril Cox hopes to make an impact in the LSU defense this season.

Cox discusses why he chose LSU and how he has been transitioning. Cox credits LSU's elite offense for preparing him for SEC play in less than 3 weeks.

From Boston to Baton Rouge, Center Liam Shanahan knew LSU would be the right fit for him after watching the program last season.

"I really want to maximize myself in football, and for me that’s going to Baton Rouge," Shanahan said to the media today.

The Tigers will take the field at Tiger Stadium in their season opener against Mississippi State on Sept. 26.
