Senior Night for LSU Swim and Dive was a success during the dual meet against Incarnate Word and Delta State. Both men and women won giving the 17 seniors a rememberable night.
"It's one of those years where we are doing things better," Head Coach Geyer said. "You know not only competition wise, but also training wise. As we are doing things faster and better than we have in years past. I think some of it was evident at our mid-season meet in November, and hopefully, that path continues, so we have successful SEC and get people to NCAA's."
Senior Lauren Thompson not only won the 200 breast stroke, but also gave the team leadership to win the dual meet.
"Meet went really well today," Senior Captain Lauren Thompson said. "I am very proud of everything we threw down today against the other teams. Everybody raced really well, just seeing where we have come off from Christmas break training. We are in a really good spot right now heading into Championship season."
Up next for the Tigers, they travel to College Station to face Texas A&M in an SEC showdown on Jan. 19.
