Following a 45-20 win against previously ranked No.7 Ole Miss, The LSU Tigers are now the No.18 ranked team in the nation.

Jayden Daniels was a huge factor in the team's win against Ole Miss, finishing the game 21-28 passing, 248 yards and 2 passing touchdowns coupled with his 121 yards on the ground and 3 rushing touchdowns.

Daniels with his 9 total rushing touchdowns of the season, broke the previous record held by Joe Burrow at 7.

The LSU offense in the last two games has found a way to capitalize off the defense's stops and finish drives, something they weren't able to do against Tennessee.

Head coach Brian Kelly after the game praised the defense with their ability to shut down the Ole Miss run and constantly bring pressure to quarterback Jaxson Dart.

The Bayou Bengals were able to hold the Rebels to only three points in the second half.

"October is for pretenders, November is for contenders," Brian Kelly said to the team following the win.

The team looks to potentially rise in the rankings as they prepare for their hardest stretch in the schedule, beginning with Alabama on Nov. 5 in Death Valley.
