On Wednesday, LSU Baseball announced their 56-game schedule for the 2022 season under new Head Coach Jay Johnson.

The Tigers begin their season on Feb. 18 against Maine in a three game series at Alex Box Stadium.

Nearly half of the Tigers' opponents this season are schools that participated in the 2021 NCAA Tournament.

The non-conference schedule includes a trip to Houston and an appearance at Minute Maid Park for the annual Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic. They will face Oklahoma, Texas and Baylor between three days. 

Fans can register to join the ticket request list for season tickets at The deadline to sign up is Sep. 30.

This is Head Coach Jay Johnson's first season as the leader of the Tigers' baseball team after Paul Mainieri announced his retirement in June 2021. 

The Tigers are prepping for the season by participating in conditioning drills and individual workouts before full-squad fall practice begins on Friday, Oct. 8. 

LSU will play two exhibition games in November. One game is against the University of New Orleans at The Box, and the other versus UL Lafayette.
