LSU's Black Student Association, a student-athlete led organization, organized a social justice march around LSU's campus Saturday, Septmeber 12. Hundred of student athletes joined, and the march was followed by a ceremony with guest speakers.

Former LSU and NFL defensive back and Louisiana native Ryan Clark was the keynote speaker.

After his passionate speech and the numerous student testimonials that followed, Clark shared his thoughts with the media about the Black Lives Matter movement, the perception of student athletes at LSU and the momentum of the movement.
