LSU Football has filled two empty spots on their coaching staff. They announced Wednesday morning that Jake Peetz and DJ Mangas are joining as offensive coordinator and passing game coordinator respectively.
Peetz replaces former offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger while Mangas fills the role of former passing game coordinator Scott Linehan. Following the 2020 college football season, Ensminger transitioned into an analyst role while Linehan and LSU parted ways.
Peetz joins the Tigers after spending two seasons with the Carolina Panthers. He served as the Panthers' running backs coach in 2019 and the quarterbacks coach in 2020.
Mangas returns to Baton Rouge, having served as an offensive analyst during the Tigers' championship-winning season in 2019. He also served on Carolina's coaching staff in 2020, as an offensive assistant to Panthers' offensive coordinator and former LSU passing game coordinator Joe Brady.
