After the Tiger lost in their season opener against Mississippi state, the team was able to fix their mistakes this week at practice. They are now looking ahead to Vanderbilt.
"I think we fixed up a lot of stuff, there's stuff that were going to have to continue to fix throughout this week because we're on to Vanderbilt now," Center Liam Shanahan said. They are trying to move forward from the tough loss and focus on their upcoming game.
"I do believe our guys are hungry to get on the plane and get a victory," Coach Orgeron said after having a successful week of practice.
Shanahan said that the criticism that Brennan has been getting hasn't been fair, and that he wants to try to make his life as easy as possible moving forward.
"We really have to help him and make it easier and that's what we're working on this week," Shanahan said. The team wants to get back on the right track for this weekend to bounce back from the loss.
"We gotta get back on the right track from last week from the loss.Wwe gotta do what we gotta do," Receiver Terrace Marshall said. He is confident that things will start to click with Brennan's chemistry with the wide receiver core.
LSU will take on Vanderbilt in Nashville on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CT.
