A string of crimes flooded social media across LSU's campus this past week. Accounts of harassment, assault and battery were posted by students and parents on Twitter and Facebook.

These posts include reports of men hiding in bathroom stalls, harassing girls walking alone and verbal and physical attacks.

After photos surfaced of one suspect, it took LSUPD only a few hours to locate and arrest him. Darrian Jones, 24, was booked on one count of armed robbery and two counts of simple battery. This was confirmed by LSU Media Relations Director, Ernie Ballard.

He was transferred and is being held at the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.

Ballard also said it's "critically important that any suspicious behavior be reported directly to LSUPD immediately."
