LSU just announced that Torchy’s Tacos and AT&T are moving into Nicholson Gateway Development.
Early 2020 marks the opening of the first Torchy’s Tacos location in Louisiana. The restaurant is based out of Austin, Texas and has over 60 locations across Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado and Arkansas. The menu is Tex-Mex inspired and includes unique tacos and cocktails.
Mobile phone service provider AT&T aims to open in January of 2020 next to the already existing The Simple Greek restaurant.
These are just two additions to the Nicholson Gateway Development between West Chimes Street and Skip Bertman Drive. The development already has a Wendy’s, Starbucks, Matherne’s Market, The Simple Greek, Frutta Bowls, Private Stock and Baton Rouge General Express Care.
The 50,000 square foot retail space still has 11,000 square feet of rooftop space available for lease. Nicholson Gateweay is a mixed use site that is jointly managed by the LSU Property Foundation, LSU Foundation, Stirling Properties and RISE Real Estate. The on-site apartments can house more than 1,500 students.
