Some of LSU’S sorority chapters are having issues with a suspicious man contacting some of its members.

Many sororities sent messages to their chapters warning that a man named Benjamin Bryson is harassing and stalking women in the Chi Omega and Kappa Delta sororities on social media and in-person.

According to an email from LSU Greek Life, police are aware of the incidents and are investigating them.

Kappa Alpha Theta president Karli Smith is telling her members not to worry, but to take precautions and be aware.

LSU Greek life is asking members to use caution on personal social media accounts as names and personal information can be shared.

“I asked for our girls to block this man on social media just so he doesn’t have any form of contact with you,” said Smith.

Bryson has reportedly been seen with a white truck in LSU’s Greek Parking Lot.

According to LSU Greek Life, there have been no threats made to anyone’s safety.

“Some of the safety tips that I gave our girls were that they just need to kind of be on their guard, because if they are walking alone in the parking lot and they don’t have any kind of protection, that puts them in a really vulnerable spot where something bad can happen really easily,” Smith said.

Students are being asked by Greek Life to stay alert and know resources to seek help. If you see anything suspicious relating to this man, call LSU PD at 225-578-3231.
