With the arrival of the fall season comes the beginning of students celebrating this special time of year in their own way. Over the wide variety of students, there are various ways they each get into the spirit of all things autumn and Halloween.

Some watch horror movies, others are keen on pumpkin carving and then there are those that go all out by throwing parties. Regardless of one's personal preference, everyone can agree that the end of summer marks a time of year like no other.

It's not always a case of the holiday itself being a festive time, but for many it possesses some form of sentimental value. LSU student Caitie Zeilman shares, "In the third grade, my mom threw me a Halloween party and so I’ve just continued that tradition ever since then."

As the leaves on the trees begin to change, so does the mood on campus as excitement builds for the spookiest season of them all.
