LSU PD responded to reports of shots being fired near campus on West Chimes Street around 8 p.m. Sunday night.
One LSU student sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital, but was was released later, according to LSU PD. The name of the student is still unknown.
LSU Police are currently in cooperation with the Louisiana State Police, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office and Baton Rouge Police to investigate more details.
