LSU students as extras in film production

The energy on LSU's campus has not died down since the big game over the weekend.

A film crew set up in the middle of the quad Monday morning to begin production on an upcoming film.

The film stars Riverdale actor, Charles Melton and Hunger Games actor, Alexander Ludwig. The actors took photos with fans in between scenes.

The film is set in the 1990s and LSU students were allowed to be extras on the set. All extras were prohibited from using their cell phones or laptops in order to accurately portray the authenticity of the time period.

The upcoming drama follows a fictional collegiate mens rowing team, however, details about the movie have not been released to the public yet.

The movie's title and release date is currently unknown.

Students were able to watch the cast and crew film scenes in the quad, and the production was set to last for most of the day.
