The LSU Family Association sponsors a holiday shuttle program to transport students from campus to the New Orleans airport.
Shuttles for the 2022-2023 academic year are available for Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break and Spring Break.
For out-of-state students flying home for holidays, this makes finding rides to the airport less stressful.
The cost of the New Orleans shuttle is $55 round trip or $45 one way.
The default loading point for all holiday shuttles is in front of the Parker Coliseum on N. Parker Coliseum Rd. Students who live on the west side of campus have the option to be picked up from Aster St. in the parking lot across from Spruce Hall.
It may be too late to register for the Thanksgiving Break shuttles, but you can still register for Winter Break 2022.
Buses will leave LSU on Dec. 9 and 10 at 4:00 a.m, 8:00 a.m, 12:00 p.m and 4:00 p.m as well as Dec. 11 at 4:00 a.m and 8:00 a.m.
Buses will pick up students after Winter Break from the New Orleans International airport on Jan. 14 at 2:00 p.m and 6:00 p.m, Jan. 15 at 10:00 a.m, 2:00 p.m, 6:00 p.m and 10:00 p.m, and Jan 16 at 2:00 p.m, 6:00 p.m and 10:00 p.m
When students return back to Louisiana, purple Tiger Trails buses will pick up students from Terminal Level 3 at the New Orleans airport.
