The coronavirus has spread to Louisiana with three cases in New Orleans. LSU officials began discussion on what to do if the virus spreads to Baton Rouge. There has been conversation of transferring face to face classes to online. 

LSU third year student Adrian Dubose says, "I'm a little worried because like if I need help, I might not get the help as quickly like I can face to face".

Although, no confirmed cases have been in  Baton Rouge, on Tuesday, March 10 an LSU professors stated he does have a few symptoms extreme virus.

The professor stated in his email to his students, that he will not return to campus until he hears that his tests come back negative, or until the professor himself is symptom-free for two weeks.

LSU stated in a tweet, they are monitoring the situation and have asked instructors to prepare for a possible switch to online classes.
