LSU art student, Keely Jackson, has always been artistic.

But, it wasn't until her senior year in high school that she decided to make a career out of it.  Jackson had an art teacher that inspired her to take art to the next level.

Jackson said, "She pushed me and really made me better in that short amount of time...I  was decent before but she made me better, and that's what made me want to pursue art in college."

Recently, Jackson painted a piece in honor of the late Nipsey Hussle, a Los Angeles rapper who left a lasting mark in his community and the rap industry.

LSU legend and former Los Angeles Lakers basketball player, Shaquille O'neal, saw the painting and had to have it.  Jackson sold the painting to O'neal for $3,000.

Jackson said that she hadn't given much thought about selling the painting, but he made a generous offer, "and that was that."
