As movie theaters across the country slowly begin to reopen after closing because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Grand Movie Theaters have announced a special offer as a part of their return that will be available at select locations.
For a limited time, private screenings will be offered for a $100 fee with show times from 10 AM – 9 PM. A theater must be booked at least seven days in advance, and the group of movie-goers, which can be no larger than 20 people, can select from the list of available showings.
Theaters will be fully sanitized, and social distancing and CDC protocol will be followed.
Other Louisiana theaters have also been presenting creative alternatives for theatergoers, like Baton Rouge’s AMC theaters that's directing website customers to check their “AMC Theaters On Demand” service. The Movie Tavern is also offering virtual options and movie treat deliveries available for purchase.
