LSU is hosting the fifth annual Dance Marathon to support Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital.

Dance Marathon at LSU is the largest student-run philanthropy event on campus, with over 400 participants and 50 teams attending this year.

Participants are encouraged to stand or dance while the miracle children share their stories and dance along.

It will be taking place at the PMAC from 4 p.m. Saturday to noon Sunday.

Team Captain Kaitlyn Kearns hosted a bake sale in Acadian and Blake Halls Tuesday to raise money for her team.

"It's just a really great organization and it's really for the kids." Kearns said. "Our theme and our motto is FTK, and it's for the kids so what we do is we raise a bunch of money for them."
