Right now, LSU is in the middle of Asian Heritage Week, hosted by the Asian American Ambassadors at LSU.
The group is putting on events to celebrate asian heritage all throughout the week.
On Tuesday they held their annual dumpling night, where there was all you can eat dumplings and fried rice for the community.
On Wednesday, there was a performance of traditional lion dancing in free speech alley, which also included customs like a wishing wall, origami, and calligraphy stations.
The Asian-American Ambassadors hope that this week will promote awareness for their culture.
"We'll use this money for spreading Asian American awareness. Across America, we have issues such as us being a minority. Sometimes we won't get into certain programs because we are Asian," Treasurer of the Asian American Ambassadors, Jason Le said.
The week wraps up tomorrow night at 5pm in Allen Hall room 139, with Asian game night.
