The LSU Police Department has arrested a suspect for unauthorized entry into the Pentagon Residential Community and simple battery.
The incident occurred earlier this month after the suspect entered Taylor Hall, waked into a student's unlocked room and made advances on a student. After the student resisted, the suspect left the building and campus.
LSUPD used security footage to obtain an image of the suspect, and Crime Stoppers was able to identify the picture. The suspect also has outstanding warrants for incidents unrelated to LSU.
LSU PD and LSU Residential Life are currently investigating how the suspect gained entry to both the Pentagon Residential Community and to Taylor Hall.
LSU has reminded students not to prop open doors, hold doors open for individuals or share Tiger Cards.
