The Louisiana heat and humidity is back, and so is LSU baseball. After losing the first game of the double header on Saturday the Tigers were able to get their redemption later in the evening.

The Aggies had an early lead on the Tigers, scoring 2 in the 1st inning. But a  big hit by Zach Watson brought the Tigers up to tie the Aggies 2-2 in the 3rd inning then, hitting the first home run of the night in the 5th inning.

Josh Smith followed in the 8th inning and hit another home run for the Tigers.

Cole Henry pitched all but one inning, despite his self described “mechanical problems” early in the series. Coach Mainieri had a few words to say about Henry’s skill level.

The Tigers got their revenge, beating the Aggies 2-9. The Tigers go across town on Tuesday to play Southern University.
