South Carolina women's basketball head coach Dawn Staley speaks on win wearing Eagles blanket in Saint's country.

No. 21 ranked USC beat the Lady Tigers 76-53. After an 29 point lead after the first period, USC's confidence pushed them to a victory. USC pushed the ball consistently and caused turnovers throughout the whole game.

"We played great on both sides of the ball and sometimes that happens," Staley said. "It doesn't happen very often, but when it does you celebrate the things that went well."

Staley continued to touch on LSU's "stingy defense." She said it felt good to have a win over such an elite defense. LSU's defense is ranked No. 5, but that was not an issue for USC's offense.

LSU will face Kentucky Thursday, Jan. 17 in the PMAC.
