Parade-goers of all ages, dressed in pink from head-to-toe, flocked like flamingos to the downtown Baton Rouge area to catch a good time-- and some beads! This year's theme, "Drain the Perversion Canal," poked fun at dysfunctional politics in Washington D.C. (AKA the "swamp") and a delayed Diversion Canal project. The parade began on Spanish Town road and ended on Lafayette St.
