Rain or shine the 50th annual Jazz and Heritage Festival took place from April 26th-May 5th celebrating artists such as Big Freedia, Diana Ross, Pitbull and so many more.

However, a two week festival is tough, especially in Louisiana with constant weather changes. So, we asked festival goers what they did to survive.

Some said to always pack a poncho and sunscreen, while others said a friend and shoes are all a person needs to prepare for Jazz Fest.

The weather cast for Saturday May 4th called for 80 percent chance of rain. Luckily, the rain never came and instead Jazz Fest was gifted with perfect 75 degree weather.

Our interviewees were prepared, nonetheless.
