Halloween isn't the only thing that fall has to offer. Retailers are getting customers into the spirit with signature fall flavors and scents.

Starbucks has the salted caramel mocha and the pumpkin spice latte. Among other scents, Bath & Body Works has pumpkin pecan waffles and sweet cinnamon pumpkin. Walmart has scents like pumpkin butter and spiced blackberry.

Three LSU students shared their favorite flavors and fragrances of fall.

"I love sweet potato pie, and I love coffee with some pumpkin spice creamer in there," public relations senior Alannie Broussard said. "I love apple and cinnamon scents."

Political communication senior Darian Shorts said "My favorite drink for sure is the salted caramel hot chocolate." Her favorite fall scent is the mahogany balsam candle from Bath & Body works.

"My favorite food is green bean casserole," mass communication and general business senior Elizabeth Nguyen said. "My favorite fall scent would have to be the Mahogany Teakwood from Bath & Body Works."

For Broussard, fall is a time to be close with family and friends. For Shorts, fall is a time to reflect on the past year in preparation for a new beginning. Nguyen feels that fall is a time of harvest before a growing season.
